2011-13: Choices

Something that came to me last night:

All roads lead to…
All roads lead to…
All roads lead to the Cross.

All roads lead to… (Wherever I am, I’ll follow)
All roads lead to… (Wherever I am, I’ll stay true)
All roads lead to… (Wherever I am, I’ll follow…)
The Cross.

I’ve been MIA since September and really limited the time that I have just to see people I care about. It’s not for lack of love or for trying, I’ve just been in a difficult situation.

I’ve had to pick between the expectations of people who I’ve always felt the need to prove myself to and the Plan of the One who matters most. It’s hard to explain how these things have clashed over the past few months…

Instead of speaking up, I chose fear and as a result, I’ve been baring the burden of expectation.

Regardless, yesterday was a reminder, that even when I make the wrong decisions and in turn am forced to bare the consequences, all of the roads of faith lead to the Cross.

It’s weight is full and heavy but…

The way of the Cross, is the way of Christ.
The way of Christ leads to heaven.

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck and write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and He will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3: 4-6
